If you are concerned about global sustainability and social responsibility then you will may want to apply the new online technologies in your classroom. The web is the primary place where people are speaking out about issues, developing new ideas and sharing solutions. Teachers can now get themselves and their students involved in this dialogue process very easily. Blogs, online video, audio messaging, online slideshows and podcasting are just some of the tools that millions of people are using to express themselves online. In this workshop, we'll overview these new web technologies. And we'll discuss how teachers and students can easily use these tools and participate together as global web citizens to effectively promote issues like sustainability and social responsibility.
